Here's the famous Christmas tree covered in scaffolding. The tree lighting ceremony is Dec 2 an they're currently thinning branches and putting up lights.

A brief foray into Central Park... I appreciated what was left of the fall foliage.

Next up, food and foreigners.

I love NYC.
what kind of camera do you shoot your restaurant photos on? it takes really nice close ups.
I have a Canon XT1i and I typically use a 35mm f/2.0 lens for food pictures. I also sometimes use a 50mm f/1.4. I'm still working on my photography skills, but thanks!
I ate in the restaurant at the top of that building. Huge fail. One of the worst and also one of the most expensive dinners in my life. I blame it on my need to go there to try the bellini. Which was a shocking $18 for about 1 oz of drink.
December is my fave time of year in NYC. :)
i really do heart NYC.
