Eating... not so much.

Apparently, I have a high threshold for pain.
Especially when the solution to the pain involves going to the dentist.

But after experiencing prolonged pain that prevented me from eating solid food and had me considering knocking out my teeth with an ice skate and a rock a la Tom Hanks in Castaway, I went to the dentist.

I never thought I'd be grateful after a root canal, but there you go. Blessed relief. And blessed Vicodin.

I haven't been to the dentist for a very long time. I keep putting it off because I'm so terrified. You, however, have inspired me.

Neither Mr. Monkey nor I have gone to the dentist in years.

And we each have an uncle who is a dentist.

Unfortunately, I am a root canal pro. So, I can completely relate to feeling better after the root canal. The pain that leads up to it can be intense. Good for you for getting it taken care of.

Root canal? Ouchypoo. I need to go back to the dentist too. I hate him/her.
